On behalf of all the members at Incourage Counselling Inc., we want to express our gratitude and appreciation to have the opportunity to live, work, and play on the traditional unceded territory of the Coast Salish Nations of the xʷməθkʷəy̓ə (Musequeam) First Nations, səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) and of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (Hun’qumi’num) speaking people and their ancestors who took care of this land since time immemorial so that we can all gather here today together.

We would also like to pay our respect for all the elders who have gone before us, and dedicate our work to participate in the reconciliation of the truth so that all future Indigenous children, families, and elders can feel proud of who they are.
